Late Night Shopping Spree

I love fall and will probably talk about it more than anyone you know, but I'm ok with that!  So while I'm laying here in bed at...oh 11:00...I got to looking at one of my favorite places to shop for fall decorations!  Normally when I have a gift card but I can always make exceptions.

So THANKS
 for the late night rendezvous.
Worry free flameless candle
(I especially like these because they come with a 5 hour timer-you set them for when you want them to come on and 5 hours later they turn themselves off-how great is that!)
Adam and I have a house FULL of great pieces from Pottery Barn that I will show you on another entry very soon!  This is our favorite time of year to decorate (next to Christmas), so we go all out and touch on a little bit of everything.  A house with the same type of decoration could get monotonous so we prefer to mix it up:  a little bit of classy, a little bit of sparkly and a little bit of creepy!

One last thing - if you are like Adam and I, we LOVE to host parties! Even if it's just family, we get such a thrill out of preparing the house and hearing what everybody thinks about the decorations!
So if you would like some helpful tips on what kind of centerpiece to use on a dining room table or how to create the perfect table scape for the holiday, definitely check out Pottery Barn's Fall Decorating & Entertaining Guide!

Be on the lookout for the pictures of our house complete with fall decorations courtesy of Pottery Barn!

Gameday Kickoff!

It's finally here! Not all of us are so lucky as to have 80 degree weather for the first game of the football season, but we still have just as much fun if not more in the deep south.  Here in the SEC, football is a way of life and tradition is everything.  Especially in Alabama the world stops on Saturdays starting in September.

The SEC is known to be the best conference in the nation and with good reason.  We have some of some of the most talented and supported teams that I've ever seen, including Auburn and Alabama.  Like I said before, Adam and I graduated from Auburn University so y'all know where we stand.  But the rivalry between those 2 schools is undeniable and aggressive.

Today was the first game for Auburn football, and it was nothing less than a nail biter.  We played Utah State, and took the game 42 - 38.  WAR EAGLE!  What made our day, though, was having our parents over to our brand new house for a tailgating party and to enjoy the game!  Here are just a few pics from the day.

I hope everyone has a fantastic football Saturday!

Then Came Marriage!

Our wedding was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.  Not only for Adam and I but for our families as well.  We enjoyed planning it so much!  You see, Adam is very much into planning events and parties and decorating and clothes and all that jazz.  He is so talented and was such a big help to me in choosing different things here and there for the BIG DAY!  It was a great bonding experience and taught us that we really work well as a team (very important when you are getting married).  Ok, I have to remember that y'all are not my Aunt Cheryl and don't want to see 300 pictures from my wedding.  So here you go!
