Country Fun

Before the wedding last Sunday, we got to spend the day driving around Nashville!  Adam basically grew up there because his whole family is from Nashville.  Him and his parents spent weekend after weekend up there at his grandparents' house hanging out with the whole family.

We got a chance to see Adam's grandparent's house as well as Vanderbilt's campus and Centennial Park!

First, we started out at San Antonio Taco Co. right off Vanderbilt's campus.

Then we took a drive around the campus and went over to Music Row to see where a lot of the country artists record their music.

This is right after Adam realized he was driving the wrong way down a one-way street

I LOVED seeing Adam's dad's childhood homes.  First, we saw his dad's first home that he grew up in.

The second house we saw was the house that Adam's dad's dad and grandfather actually built by hand from the ground up.  It's one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen.  It looks like a castle.

Lastly, we went to Centennial Park.  It's a beautiful park with a lake and a walking path and a life size replica of the Parthenon from Greece.

I'll be heading to Atlanta tonight for a tour of the Vampire Diaries set!  So when I get back I will have LOTS of pictures to share!  Everyone have a great Friday!!
